We are a 25+ year old golf club, highly respected in the Chicagoland area, seeking a knowledgeable, ambitious, self-motivated person with a passion for the golf industry. Golf course experience preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
This is a seasonal position starting in April and ending in November/December. Employees will be eligible for the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). Duties include but are not limited to:
- Mowing of greens, tees, fairways and rough
- Raking bunkers
- Assisting with golf course set up and operations
- Assisting with fertilizer/pesticide applications (Illinois spray license is a plus)
- Irrigation operation and repair (experience a plus)
- General landscape maintenance practices
Compensation
- $15.00 – $18.00 per hour, with possible overtime
