Prairie Landing Golf Club is looking for Banquet Captain responsible for supervision of food and beverage service in our banquet facility. Job responsibilities include:
Lead server on all events
Keep banquet inventory and communicate what needs to be ordered
Set up client’s items on day of event
Liaison between client & staff during the events
Run clients rehearsal & wedding ceremony
Communicate instructions & answer questions to banquet staff.
Assist the kitchen on buffet & food service setup
Review BEO’s, sections, diagram, etc. with banquet and kitchen staff, run pre-event meeting
Review BEO and timeline with vendors (DJ, photog, etc.)
Answer client questions if needed during events
Make sure staff stays on task
Make sure next day setup is done correctly & banquet areas are cleaned
Must know where to find any banquet related items
Delegate & Supervise banquet staff sidework/ duties for event
Able to close the event
Pre-employment drug testing required.
